Paeonia sp.(L.) ‘Coral Charm’ (a lactriflora hybrid)

I ordered this peony from a garden catalogue. I love the durability of peonies and their bright colors. I am fascinated by old farm house gardens, long abandoned, that still are full of peonies and daffodils. Of course, deer don’t eat peonies or daffodils, thus increasing their survival. The color is so beautiful on this one that I felt compelled to have one nearby.
