Cocoloba uvifera
Sea Grapes are often grown as wind breaks along the edge of Florida ocean beaches.
It is a very durable plant, surviving in dry sandy soil, and will grow into a thick hedge. The grapes make edible jellies and were use by early settlers to Florida.
