Papilio glaucus

We are all familiar with the yellow tiger swallowtails that love my lilacs when they bloom in the spring. In the southern part of the country the female tiger swallowtail may also be brown. Tiger swallowtails persist throughout the summer. They sometimes lay eggs on my Anglica plants.
